TecSpores® self-contained biological indicators (SCBI) deliver direct, highly reliable biological monitoring for moist heat (steam) sterilization cycles. They utilize Geobacillus stearothermophilus spores, the standard reference organism due to its proven resistance to steam.

Features and Performance:

• Visual Color Interpretation: The growth medium remains Purple if sterilization was successful (spores inactivated) and turns Translucent Yellow if bacterial growth occurs (cycle failure).

• Integrated Traceability: Features an external chemical process indicator on the label, along with lot number and expiration date for strict quality control.

• Incubation Time: 24 hours at 55°C – 60°C.

• Regulatory Compliance: Manufactured according to ISO 11138-1 and 3, IRAM 37102, and ISO 13485 standards.
